Popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot to open in the Kroger Shopping Center

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly expanding breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, will open a new restaurant in Bristol, Va. this summer. Located at 180 Stateline Center in the Kroger Shopping Center, this is the second of five Eggs Up Grills for Franchise Partner Ken Bates and his family. He also owns the Eggs Up Grill in Johnson City, Tenn., and will open a location in Kingsport, Tenn. later this year.

Bates is a native of Kingsport and is a seasoned restauranteur with more than 35 years of experience. Prior to Eggs Up Grill, he owned 24 Little Caesars restaurants across four states, including Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia. He says the core values of Eggs Up Grill is what attracted him to the brand.

“It has been an honor to expand Eggs Up Grill in the tri-cities market, as it’s my home,” says Bates. “The response from the community has been wonderful, and we are excited to begin serving the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town to our neighbors in the Bristol community this summer.”

With indoor seating for 130, the 4,160 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright and cheery atmosphere. The Bristol restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available. It also has a 16-seat private dining room available for larger groups or community gatherings called “The Coop.”

Eggs Up Grill is all about neighbors serving neighbors. The Bates family is excited to continue serving the community, such as supporting first responders and the military.
