Subway franchisee opening popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot this fall
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, will open a new restaurant in Morrow, Ga., this fall located at 1990 Mt. Zion Road in Southlake Pavilion. The restaurant will be the first for Atlanta franchise partners Antwan and Jeremy Aiken, who also own and operate two Subway locations in Atlanta.
The Aikens are natives of South Carolina, where they learned about the franchise opportunity – the brand traces its roots back to Pawleys Island, S.C. where the first Eggs Up Grill opened 25 years ago.
“We have a wonderful opportunity to expand our portfolio and provide the members of the Morrow community an exciting breakfast, brunch and lunch concept,” says Antwan Aiken. “Our partnership with Eggs Up Grill allows us work life flexibility, while offering guests a delicious, family-friendly place to dine with a fun vibe and a neighborly atmosphere.”
In addition to a successful career in the restaurant industry, Jeremy Aiken worked as a cake decorator for more than 10 years, and Antwan Aiken continues part time in his practice as a psychotherapist and adjunct instructor at Clayton State University and Kennesaw State University.
With indoor seating for 105, plus an outdoor patio for 36, the 3,200 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright and cheerful atmosphere. The Morrow restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available.
Eggs Up Grill will also cater events big or small, with a menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy and muffins. Salads and sandwiches are available for catered lunch.
The new Morrow restaurant will hire approximately 35 employees and will begin conducting interviews later this year. Those interested can apply online at eggsupgrill.com. For more information, follow @eug_morrow on Instagram and @eugmorrow on Facebook.
