SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept began serving the most important meal of the day at 6 a.m. this morning in Gastonia. The restaurant, known for its great-tasting, freshly prepared meals, friendly service and inviting atmosphere, is located at 2609 S. New Hope Road in RedBud Commons adjacent to Food Lion. This is the first Eggs Up Grill for Keith Moore and his wife Soumitra in the Gastonia community.
“What attracted my wife and I to Eggs Up Grill is how family-oriented it is. It’s a place family can gather and enjoy breakfast classics,” said Moore. “The breakfast and lunch concept, as well as its hours of operation, are very compelling. Also, the brand is all about the community and that’s important to us.”
Moore, is an IHOP franchise veteran, serving as an area director for that brand prior to franchising with Eggs Up Grill. When he learned about Eggs Up Grill, he liked a lot of the things the brand was doing, including the business model. As a restaurant industry veteran who understands the breakfast space, he also feels especially prepared for this next chapter of his professional life.
“The values of Eggs Up Grill along with our return to doing business in Gastonia in this ideal location makes this a great opportunity,” said Moore. The Moores, who lived in Gastonia for 10 years, are seasoned restaurateurs and are pleased to begin serving guests across the community.
With seating for 116, plus an outdoor patio for dining for up to 24, the 4,000 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright and cheery atmosphere. Whether dining at the counter feeling the energy from the kitchen, at a table shared with neighbors and friends, outside on the patio or in a cozy booth, guests can choose seating options to suit the perfect occasion or mood. The walls feature artwork specifically designed for Eggs Up Grill that pays homage to its namesake, the Egg.
The Gastonia restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available. A convenient to-go station near the entrance of the restaurant will allow for easy pick-up for online orders and third-party delivery.
